In a Western you can think, Jesus, there was a time when man was alone, on horseback, out there where man hasn't spoiled the land yet.

You take the work seriously, you don't take yourself seriously. You keep that straight and you'll do well the rest of your life.

There's a lot of great movies that have won the Academy Award, and a lot of great movies that haven't. You just do the best you can.
