You either pray or worry. Don't do both.

People who actually have money don't want to talk about it. They want to talk about everything else.

I'd like to connect with music like I did in the beginning. To have that intensity again, to have a song that comes on at 1 o'clock in the morning and it's the premiere song at that point. It's almost magic because, when you condition for it, it doesn't take long for you to write the content that everyone in the world can agree on at one time.

I think either you're creative or you're not. In general, I don't think you need to be in pain to actually be creative unless you're writing love songs. Then you might need to have some ups and downs within your emotions to start to capture that.

But you get nowhere that way; your energy is weak and no one pays attention to you. You’re running away from the one thing that you own – what makes you different. I lost that fear. And once I felt the power that I had by showing the world I didn’t care about being like other people, I could never go back.

If you don't have finances to jump on opportunites or at least room to support yourself while you're tryin to move into new situations then you can't even evolve.

2Pac wrote about life threatening situations after being shot so often, it made it seem like he was obsessed with it. He even wrote music and material that he left behind after he died that made reference to him dying already. I think the significance in that ties back to us knowing that that's our fate.
