You know in cartoons, the way someone can run off a cliff and they're fine, they don't fall down until they look down? My mom always said that was the secret of life. Never look down. But it's more than that. It's not just about looking. It's about never realizing that you're in the middle of the air and you don't know how to fly.
Dakota FanningI just don't skimp on TV. Even if I'm exhausted and so tired and it's 12 A.M. and a Sunday night, I'll still watch Game of Thrones. I will stay up, and I will watch it. I totally screw my sleep schedule up.
Dakota FanningThe hardest thing is at the end you have to say bye to all these people who you have worked with for so many months. It was really sad not to see them anymore. But you have the parties that you go to and you get to see them, like the premieres and the screenings.
Dakota FanningI have traveled to a lot of places, and you look at another young person who lives under very different circumstances than you but has the same dreams or the same interests or might be better at what I do than what I do. But I was born in a different place, and she was born in a different place. Just for that alone, you're kind of inherently given opportunity. That's something that I'm very grateful for, but I'm also very aware of.
Dakota FanningWith all of the characters I've played, I feel like I've tried to communicate through my eyes and face, as much or more than with words. That's something that I like to watch in films, and something that I like to bring to the characters that I play.
Dakota FanningI think that when youโre in the public eye, you automatically become a role model, because people are reading about you and looking at pictures of stuff youโve done. But, you know, no oneโs perfect, everyone makes mistakes. I have made mistakes and I will make mistakes. Iโm only human.
