Given love and opportunity, every child and adult can recover. All who know this and have the capacity to help others should assist as they can.

The gospel of Jesus Christ and the covenants we have made inevitably cast us as combatants in the eternal contest between truth and error. there is no middle ground in that contest.

When we undertake to cover our sins, . . . behold, the heavens withdraw themselves; the Spirit of the Lord is grieved; and when it is withdrawn, Amen to the priesthood or the authority of that man

Our lives of service and sacrifice are the most appropriate expressions of our commitment to serve the Master and our fellowmen.
