I like the idea of being a youngish parent. So I've got energy to play football even though they'll be better than me by the time they're four.

I want to write and direct, but I don't think if I did it for 100 years I would ever come close to putting something out there that gives a feeling of all-encompassing and joyous.

That, as an actor, frees you up a lot because you can [try different approaches] and they'll only use what's appropriate.

I thought I was an actor playing a wizard. But really, I was a wizard playing an actor.
