In loving someone, you worship them like a deity and it hurts, a lot, to the point that in trying to show love and show tribute to someone you're stretching and reaching. It becomes an unhealthy worship and you'll bow out unfaithfully in the end.

Professionally, I'm proud that Glassjaw has gotten to this moment, and that Justin Beck and I are making another record and some zany things are going on. It's on the tip of my tongue all day every day, between the press and the experience of putting ourselves out there, and putting our personalities out there to be judged and to have amassed a whole unit of music, and how it's really a celebration of our friendship. I'm really proud of it.

Nothing is the same. I don't have one emotion that's the same. Everything is totally different; I'm a different person, the whole industry is totally different from when Glassjaw was first trying to approach it and put a record out.

We've both with Justine Beck done other things - and do other things - outside of Glassjaw. But Glassjaw's the most shining professional thing I've been part of. And the fact it's happening on the scale is both an honor and it's funny. Its hysterical. It's a fun ride. The whole world's different.

Our schedules haven't permitted us to do shows in a while and now we're gonna do it but that's it. It's cool, we'll see what happens, I'm just excited to do it. We never broke up, there's no reason to, why would I? We don't have to break up.
