A spiritual 'spurter' is one who is given to short bursts of spectacular effort followed by frequent and lengthy periods of rest.

People of integrity and honesty not only practice what they preach, they are what they preach.

Proclaiming the gospel is not an activity in which we periodically and temporarily engage.

Ordinary people who faithfully, diligently, and consistently do simple things that are right before God will bring forth extraordinary results.

Pray and seek for strength to change our circumstances rather than praying for our circumstances to be changed

With faith . . . we must walk to the edge of the light and into the darkness. As we so walk I testify and promise that the light will move. When I was your age and wondering some of the exact same things that you are now wondering, I never would have imagined that someday [we] would be at Ricks College serving as we are. . . . The power of procreation is spiritually significant. Misuse of this power subverts the purposes of the Father's plan and of our mortal existence. Our Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son are creators and have entrusted each of us with a portion of Their creative power.
