More than anything, acting helped me discover who I'm not. I've learned that I'm a girly girl, but not a prissy girl.

Hollywood is like high school, there are always going to be people who hate you and people who like you. When you're a teen, [that's tough] because you're hyper-aware of what other people are gonna say and think. But neither defines who you are as a person or how successful you are unless you let them.

I feel like music does have a role to play in waking people up; it can be an alarm clock or it can be a lullaby.

With the pay gap in Hollywood, I think it's very easy to say - 'oh, what are they complaining for? They're making millions of dollars.' But by having a woman in the industry do this, it's easier for others to see it.

I'm always doing something new. I took a fencing class - that was awesome. And I do a lot of my own athletic work or stunts.

I want people to know that on the other side of the world - and even in your own country or on your own street - there are people who need something that you can give them.

I hope more women see, at least eventually, that a healthy relationship isn't anything that breaks you down.
