Music is such an intensely personal thing for me, and I knew if I was going to do it, it would be in my own way.

I never wash my hair the night before an event - I call it second day hair, and it holds better. Also, the day before, test run your makeup and watch it every couple of hours (see if your mascara is bleeding, or if your lip gloss runs out really quickly). Oh, and for me, shoe-wise, platforms give me the same height that I need, but they're not as taxing on my feet.

I'm always doing something new. I took a fencing class - that was awesome. And I do a lot of my own athletic work or stunts.

I hope more women see, at least eventually, that a healthy relationship isn't anything that breaks you down.

Any mature, responsible adult doesn't run around stomping their feet and screaming 'I'm a mature, responsible, adult.'

I didn't grow up in one place, so I never had a certain mentality. I have some aspects of growing up in Texas, but I also have a lot of East Coast family. I would have loved to grow up on the East Coast.
