After so long being thin, it was terrifying being heavier. But I am a naturally curvy Hispanic girl. I don't deprive myself.

Sometimes I'm not always doing amazing but it's okay... because everyone struggles and it's okay to be flawed because that's what makes me... Me.

I grew up in the South where there's discrimination, and when I witnessed the judgment around me, I always thought someone needs to stick up for not just the LGBT community but any outsider, anybody that wasn't the mold in Texas.

Love yourself for who you are and just keep going.

You don't have to wait till the beginning of a new year to make resolutions for yourself. It's all about loving and taking care of the only body you will ever have...cherish it, love it, embrace it...Because when you do...It begins to show.
