When I look back, it saddens me to think that I was so hard on myself - when I was younger, I thought I had to look like everyone else, but I learned that beauty comes from how you feel about yourself. Once I started taking care of my mind, body, and soul, I realized that I didn't need to conform to what's "normal" and started to love myself.

I don't like to go out to clubs, because I find myself seeing remnants of drugs in the bathroom.

Stay strong, be brave, love hard and true, and you will have nothing to lose.

Go where you are wanted and stray from where you aren't. Surround yourself with positive people and environments.

It's a big responsibility dating me. Because I come with a little bit of baggage, you know?

Very skinny girls were on the cover of magazines and that's what I was looking up to so that's what I had to idolize. I don't want that for young girls to idolize.

I'm not saying I'm perfect, or fixed, but I am learning to love and accept myself. My outlook is more positive and I am happy.
