God is not upset that Gandhi was not a Christian, because God is not a Christian! All of God's children and their different faiths help us to realize the immensity of God.

Reconciliation is a long process. We don't have the kind of race clashes that we thought would happen. What we have is xenophobia, and it's very distressing. But maybe you ought to be lenient with us. We've been free for just 12 years.

I believe in MasterPeace. World leaders cannot push back armed conflict alone. We need the whole world to make this happen.

Each one of us is not a divine afterthought.

We must not allow ourselves to become like the system we oppose. We cannot afford to use methods of which we will be ashamed when we look back, when we say, '...we shouldn't have done that.' We will say, 'We used methods that can stand the harsh scrutiny of history.'
