Forgiving is not easy. It is not cheap.

He takes their side not because they are good, since many of them are demonstrably not so. He takes their side because He is that kind of God, and they have no one else to champion them.

Stability and peace in our land will not come from the barrel of a gun, because peace without justice is an impossibility.

Anywhere where the humanity of people is undermined, anywhere where people are left in the dust, there we will find our cause.

Arrogance really comes from insecurity, and in the end our feeling that we are bigger than others is really the flip side of our feeling that we are smaller than others.
