In the country field, weโre brought up in spiritual homes, weโre taught to โjudge not lest you be judged,โ and itโs always been a mystery to me how people jump all over things just to criticize, condemn and judge other people when that is so un-Christian โ and they claim to be good Christians! Weโre supposed to love one another. Weโre supposed to accept and love one another. Whether we do or not, thatโs a different story. But thatโs what weโre supposed to do.
Dolly Parton'9 to 5,' that little song, that little story, just won't ever end. Just like 'I Will Always Love You,' it just keeps comin' back, popping up its head in one way or another.
Dolly PartonI was born in an odd spot and was a very sensitive kid. My feelings could get hurt so easily because I always wanted to be loved, I wanted to be touched, I wanted to touch somebody. I wanted everybody to love me, so I think I was louder than I should have been. I was just trying to get attention. I always felt like I was somebody special, maybe it's because I needed to be somebody special.
Dolly PartonWhen I talk to a man, I can always tell what he's thinking by where he is looking. If he is looking at my eyes, he is looking for intelligence. If he is looking at my mouth, he is looking for wisdom. But if he is looking anywhere else except my chest he's looking for another man.
