If you can figure out what their motivation is, then you're ahead of the game. I think that's why a lot of people who are in this industry don't have a lot of friends - but have a lot of acquaintances - because you never know what everyone's ulterior motives are.

I could say something dumb today and be in the news for it tomorrow. And maybe the phone stops ringing. You're always afraid of losing what you have. If you have something to get off of your chest, there is a proper way to do it. Everybody has a bad day, and, for some people, you're under a microscope and you have to deal with the consequences of having a bad day in front of people. But everyone has them.
