I've wondered, though, if one of the reasons we fail to acknowledge the brilliance of life is because we don't want the responsibility inherent in the acknowledgment. We don't want to be characters in a story because characters have to move and breathe and face conflict with courage. And if life isn't remarkable, then we don't have to do any of that; we can be unwilling victims instead of grateful participants.

All this beauty exists so you and I can see His glory, His artwork. It's like an invitation to worship Him, to know Him.

Without a positive male role model in your life it is extremely difficult to become a man who benefits his family and benefits society.

I'm just trying to make the point that the story we're telling ourselves is often very different from the story we're telling the people around us.

The heart responds to the conflict within a story.

Maybe life isn't meaningless...Maybe just YOUR life is meaningless

God made a whole beautiful earth and decided to put you in it, to experience all of this beauty. You can't do that watching television all the time.
