This election [2016], and I believe this, is our last chance to secure the border, stop illegal immigration and reform our laws to make your life better.

On my radio show Chris Christie came to the defense of Ted Cruz, noting that - I guess at a rally, that - one of those Iran rallies on Capitol Hill, I believe even Donald Trump, according to Christie, had acknowledged that, you know, Ted Cruz of course was eligible, and just because he was born in Canada.

Well the thinking is we have the highest tax rate in the world. In the entire world, we have the highest tax rate. There's gridlock in Washington because there's no leadership. Hillary Clinton will be very weak on the border. She wants people just to flow in terms of illegal immigration. People are going to flow into the country. And it's going to be a disaster.

My administration will end the sanctuary cities that have resulted in so many needless deaths. Cities that refuse to cooperate with federal authorities will not receive taxpayer dollars, and we will work with Congress to pass legislation to protect those jurisdictions that do assist federal authorities.

I will say if John Podesta said that about me and he was working for me I would have fired him fast .
