No longer will we allow the infrastructure of our magnificent country to crumble and decay. While protecting the environment, we will build gleaming new roads, bridges, railways, waterways, tunnels and highways.

What's happened is we have lost, over a period of years, short years, 70,000 factories in America.

I do like low interest rates. I'm not making that a big secret. I think low interest rates are good. I like a dollar that's not too strong. I mean, I've seen strong dollars. And frankly, other than the fact that it sounds good, lots of bad things happen with a strong dollar.

When oil goes over $40 a barrel it's almost impossible for America to do well.

We enriched foreign countries at the expense of our own country, the great United States of America. But those days are over. I'm not - and I don't want to be - the president of the world. I'm the president of the United States. And from now on, it's going to be America First.

Once you get something, it's awfully tough to take it away.

Inequality is going to be a big issue, but competence is going to be the biggest issue. [People] want to see somebody that's super-competent and that's me.
