Special interests don't want border controls because uncontrolled immigration lowers wages, but the job of a president is to fight for higher pay for all Americans, including recent legal immigrants living here today.

Once you say you're going to have to tax them coming in, and our politicians never do this, because they have special interests and the special interests want those companies to leave, because in many cases, they own the companies. So what I'm saying is, we can stop them from leaving. We have to stop them from leaving.

Four fifty-four for gas... because we have nobody that calls up OPEC... and say, [mobster voice] 'That. Price. Better. Get. Lower. And it better. Get. Lower. Fast.'

In business, I've discovered that my purpose is to do my best to my utmost ability every day. That's my standard. I learned early in my life that I had high standards.

Ultimately, if you're not doing what you love, you're not going to be fulfilled. Sure, to make money, you have to be tough, you have to have some smarts and a little luck would help, but the bottom line is: You have to love what you do.

I've heard the term ["silent majority"], but for the last 20 years I really haven't heard the term. But I went to a rally in Alabama, and there were 31,000 people there, you've seen it, you've read about it. And I looked and I said, this is the silent majority. Though they weren't silent, because they want to see proper change, not [Barack] Obama change.
