I am not someone who is ashamed of my past. I'm actually really proud. I know I made a lot of mistakes, but they in turn were my life lessons.

I love movies, I love being a part of them, and this is the one occupation I love living and playing in and stressing myself out over.

When you have a big life change, it takes a long time to get used to either the new format or the understanding that you need to create a new dream. Or if things didn't work out, mourning the death of that dream. It's hard, because that's a very private journey.

I make movies. I have a passion. Puppies and daisies don't accomplish anything. That's not me at all.

I really wanted a wonderful, traditional home for my kid.

I have no internet savvy whatsoever, but I love researching things. The Internet is my library... beyond that, I'm completely intimidated by it.

I think that we all have to have that rite of passage of dating the tortured artist who seems cooler than we think we are; we aspire to be like them, and we're excited that somebody is turning us on to new music or a new lifestyle.
