I'm very inspired by personal transformation. I'm so inspired when people who have been living with or struggling against significant obstacles break through and reach the other side of that challenge victoriously.

I grew up as an only child, and my mother was a single mom. It's always been "us." If it weren't for her nurturing and guiding my artistic talents at a young age, I don't think I'd be a professional actress and performer today.

I had always been an overachiever, so I felt I could just "wing it," reasoning that if I don't set clear, written goals I wouldn't have to account for anything if I failed. Now I'm the opposite! I am always setting goals, and I get very specific about where I'm going and take the time to learn the steps needed to take to get there.

I think when you embrace celibacy other elements of the relationship have to come forth. There isn't an opportunity for you to be blinded by your sexual desires there is an opportunity to see things more clearly.

While success has hardly come overnight for me, it always comes.
