Home-making today should have a background of scientific training because only in this way can real efficiency be achieved. The average girl wants to be able to keep her house with the least possible strain, and in order to do this she must have good training. This can best be achieved by taking a good course in home economics.

If you can develop this ability to see what you look at, to understand its meaning, to readjust your knowledge to this new information, you can continue to learn and to grow as long as you live and you’ll have a wonderful time doing it.

It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness.

For our own success to be real, it must contribute to the success of others.

The trouble is that not enough people have come together with the firm determination to live the things which they say they believe.
