As much as I try to be present, it just doesn't really feel like reality. It feels like a fleeting thing. There's a million other incredibly wonderful girls that are much more talented than me that are out there all the time. So I'm just trying to appreciate it for what it is. But I don't want it to take on that feeling of pressure, because I don't know where that's gonna get me.

I think there are plenty of soulmates out there. That's what I choose to believe.

I have dreams of being a producer, being behind a camera, eating seven tacos for every meal, and making movies that affect people the way they affect me. I don't even need to be in them.

What sets you apart can feel like a burden, but it's not.

I think that might also be part of the life of a creative person - those sort of ups and downs and security and insecurity. It's just part of the lot in life when you're pushing yourself and hoping to always keep growing and expanding. It's emotionally tricky.

I always thought it's way more important to be funny or to be honest than to look any certain way

I've always loved to sing and dance, but the caliber of my talent in those areas obviously is not nearing Patti LuPone or Sutton Foster.
