I am honored to be here as co-chair of President Obama's re-election campaign.

Meeting people is difficult, period. LA is a difficult place to meet people anyway, and Hollywood is such a small community. But I don't make it a rule just to date other actors and people in the entertainment industry. It could work out with me and a dentist. It could work out with me and a lawyer.

When you're fighting for social justice, one of my biggest pet peeves is speaking out of ignorance.

You never date someone's ex-boyfriend. Period. That's not even the unspoken rule - that's the spoken rule.

What I want to do is create great content on television and movies. It is not my role to program only for Latinos, and you can't really assume that Hispanics only want Hispanic content. But I do think that we are severely underrepresented in television and film. And instead of complaining about not seeing ourselves, we should become film producers, directors, and writers, and tell our story.

My mom had four kids, one with special needs. She had a full-time job, and she still came home and made dinner for us every night, from scratch. It was amazing.

If I were single and had my career, I'd be happy. You have to be happy with what you're doing.
