Marriage is a commitment, so you always have to work at it.

I never thought of myself as a sex symbol. I just do the cover of magazines. I think it’s really unfair men or people in the world think you can’t be both – you can’t be a sex symbol and a serious businessperson. Who says I can’t be both? Who says I can’t do the cover of Maxim and run a production company? Women are complex. Women are beautiful and intellectual and spiritual and social and entrepreneurial. They’re everything. And I think I’m a great example of that.

So many people think you have to be rich and famous to really create an impact, and it's just not true. Especially when it comes to environmentalism.

I didn't grow up wanting to become an actor at all. I wanted to be a sports trainer and I was actually an aerobics instructor.

If I were single and had my career, I'd be happy. You have to be happy with what you're doing.

There's a big difference between charity and between activism and philanthropy. They're very different things and I think, you know, everybody should find a passion or a cause that they can really get behind, but it has to be organic.
