God wants to change us so much that it intrigues others.

In reality, not one of us will ever be worthy. It is useless to attempt earning it; you'll never feel ready. It is unknown and uncomfortable. But there really is a God who forgives everything and loves endlessly.

Worry implies that we don't quite trust God is big enough, powerful enough, or loving enough to take care of what's happening in our lives.

I confess to you guys, I confess to the church, I know I have backed away from certain things because of my arrogance. I thought I could attract more people to Jesus by hiding certain things about him.

We have control over our prayer life, our relationship with Jesus.

If I have a script, I tend to stick to it even if God may be leading me elsewhere in the moment.

Lukewarm people think about life on earth much more often than eternity in heaven.
