Oswald Chambers writes, โNever make a principle out of your experience; let God be as original with other people as He is with you.โ To that I would add, โBe careful not to turn othersโ lives into the mold for your own.โ Allow God to be as creative with you as He is with each of us.
Francis ChanWorry implies that we don't quite trust God is big enough, powerful enough, or loving enough to take care of what's happening in our lives.
Francis ChanThe core problem isnโt the fact that weโre lukewarm, halfhearted, or stagnant Christians. The crux of it all is why we are this way, and it is because we have an inaccurate view of God. We see Him as a benevolent Being who is satisfied when people manage to fit Him into their lives in some small way. We forget that God never had an identity crisis. He knows that Heโs great and deserves to be the center of our lives.
