I believe He wants us to love others so much that we go to extremes to help them.

The greatest knowledge we can ever have is knowing God treasures us.

People who are obsessed with Jesus do not consider service a burden. Obsessed people take joy in loving God by loving His people (Mt 13:44)(Jn 15:8).

Christianity was simple: fight your desires in order to please God.

Being in war together may be what keeps us from being at war with each other. Rather than neglecting the battle to work on your marriage, maybe the best thing for your marriage is to enter the battlefield together.

...if God is truly the greatest good on this earth, would He be loving us if He didn't draw us toward what is best for us (even if that happens to be Himself)?

The world needs Christians who don't tolerate the complacency of their own lives.
