Colossians 1:16 tells us that everything was created FOR God... don't we live instead as though God is created for US, to do OUR bidding, to bless US, and to take care of OUR loved ones?

If life were stable, I'd never need God's help.

Christ can come back at any time so the one thing you want to have in your life is a focused prayer time.

I confess to you guys, I confess to the church, I know I have backed away from certain things because of my arrogance. I thought I could attract more people to Jesus by hiding certain things about him.

The world says love yourself, grab all you can, follow your heart. Jesus says deny yourself, grab your cross and follow me.

God is the only true Giver, and He needs nothing from us. But still He wants us. He gave us life so that we might seek and know Him.

What is amazing is how we treat a meeting with God as ordinary or burdensome.
