The Houston Astrodome was kind of a tough field.

All I wanted to be was a player.

Remember, your attitude toward a situation can help you to change it - you create the very atmosphere for defeat or victory.

And, coaching has never been an option for me.

Once that was over, I knew that my ties to a football organization would be over because I never wanted to coach or be in the front office.

When you get discouraged or depressed, try changing your attitude from negative to positive and see how life can change for you.

But, as always, Mr. Rooney would come over and shake your hand and congratulate you on a good game, no matter what the situation was.
