Amor Fati – “Love Your Fate”, which is in fact your life.

If we lacked curiosity, we should do less for the good of our neighbor. But, under the name of duty or pity, curiosity steals into the home of the unhappy and the needy. Perhaps even in the famous mother-love there is a good deal of curiosity.

When thou goest to woman, take thy whip.

Even in the lust of knowledge I feel only my will's delight in begetting and becoming; and if there be innocence in my knowledge it is because my procreative will is in it.

Science offends the modesty of all real women. It makes them feel as though it were an attempt to peek under their skin--or, worseyet, under their dress and ornamentation!

This woman is beautiful and clever: but how much cleverer she would have become if she were not beautiful!

Life without music is only error, exhaustion, exile... Indeed, there is nothing that concerns me more than the fate of music.
