It's funny how a chubby kid can just be having fun, and people call it entertainment!

As a kid, before I could play music, I remember baseball being the one thing that could always make me happy.

I feel my job as an artist is to drive people to country radio. That's my job as a country artist. So these streaming places, especially these on-demand streaming places, where you can just push a button and hear it as many times as you want, like YouTube, any of that stuff, that's taking all the ears away from country radio.

You know Nashville, there's people that are ten times more talented than me, ten times better singer than me, song writer than me, but for some reason you get the ball and now - and now you run with it. And you do the best you can.

I've lost loved ones in my life who never knew how much I loved them. Now I live with the regret that my true feelings for them never were revealed.

We treat the lyrics like the woman any man wants to impress the most. We give the lyrics all the attention we can. I'm not sure other formats are remembering that the lyrics are what it's all about.
