Do not give up your authority and follow blindly the will of others. This way will lead to only delusion.

Meat is not agreeable to the wise: it has a nauseating odor, it causes a bad reputation, it is food for the carnivorous; I say this, Mahamati, it is not to be eaten.

If a person does not harm any living being...and does not kill or cause others to kill - that person is a true spiritual practitioner

To share happiness, and to have done something good before leaving this life is sweet.

Drink deeply. Live in serenity and joy.
