Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.

Believe there is good in the world.

Giving the best to others are giving the best to us. The value of life is not based on how long we live. But, how much can we contribute to others in our society ?

Victory breeds hatred; the defeated live in pain. The peaceful live happily, giving up victory and defeat.

For the good of the many, for the happiness of the many, out of compassion for the world.

As a flower that is lovely and beautiful, but is scentless, even so fruitless is the well-spoken word of one who practices it not.
