When watching after yourself, you watch after others. When watching after others, you watch after yourself.

Seeker, empty the boat, lighten the load, be free of craving and judgment and hatred, and feel the joy of the way.

One is not a great one because one defeats or harms other living beings. One is so called because one refrains from defeating or harming other living beings.

To avoid causing terror to living beings, let the disciple refrain from eating meat.

Don't give way to heedlessness or to intimacy with sensual delight - for a heedful person, absorbed in jhana, attains an abundance of ease.

The Ill-directed mind can do to you even worse

Seeing the similarity to oneself, one should not use violence or have it used.
