Do not breathing in the chronological, do not dream of the later, drain the intellect on the bring about twinkling.

Dharma is not upheld by talking about it. Dharma is upheld by living in harmony with it.

Through zeal, knowledge is gotten, through lack of zeal, knowledge is lost; let a man who knows this double path of gain and loss thus place himself that knowledge may grow.

Let none find fault with others; let none see the omissions and commissions of others. But let one see one's own acts, done and undone.

Much though he recites the sacred texts, but acts not accordingly, that heedless man is like a cowherd who only counts the cows of others - he does not partake of the blessings of the holy life.

'As I am, so are these. As are these, so am I.' Drawing the parallel to yourself, neither kill nor get others to kill.
