The whole thing of life and all the answers to everything are in one divine law, Karma action and reaction.

As a Beatle, my everyday life belonged to the public in one way or another. We were always appearing for the public in the early days, or we were planning for them, producing for them, interviewing for their sake, etc.

Experience is the main reason why we're here, I think, in the world to gain experience and from our experience we gain knowledge. Oh, I think so, anyway. Knowledge and if we get any knowledge then we gain liberation.

We worked the medley on side two of "Abbey Road" out carefully in advance. All of those mini songs were partly completed tunes; some were written while we were in India a year before. So there was just a bit of chorus here and a verse there. We welded them all together into a routine.

All things must pass.

It's a matter of turning your consciousness inward in order to then realize that God is in there, and then you can see him outside too. It's just a shift in attitude, really.

While everybody else was going mad, we were actually the sanest people in the whole thing.
