I think everybody knows that Africa is in a very deep crisis. There is economic misery and social deprivation and that Africa needs help but the question then is how. And also we have to make sure that we don't repeat old mistakes; this help is only short term. It doesn't address Africa's long-term fundamental needs and how to put Africa on the right track to development. What Africa needs to do is to grow, to grow out of debt.

I mean, there needs to be a wholesale effort against racial profiling, which is illiterate children.

If I answer questions every time you ask one, expectations would be high. And as you know, I like to keep expectations low.

We're fighting people that hates our values, they can't stand what America stands for.

I think it's very important that we protect marriage as an institution between a man and a woman. I proposed a constitutional amendment. The reason I did so was because I was worried that activist judges are actually defining the definition of marriage. And the surest way to protect marriage between a man and woman is to amend the Constitution.

Libraries promote the sharing of knowledge, connecting people of all ages with valuable information resources. These dynamic and modern institutions, and the librarians who staff them, add immeasurably to our quality of life.

I believe that people want to be free. And that we face an enemy that murders innocent people to try to shake our psychology to get us to leave.
