The point is, this is a way to help inoculate me about what has come and is coming.

Most of you probably didn't know that I have a new book out. Some guy put together a collection of my wit and wisdom - or, as he calls it, my accidental wit and wisdom. But I'm kind of proud that my words are already in book form.

I've changed my style somewhat, as you know. I'm less - I pontificate less, although it may be hard to tell it from this show. And I'm more interacting with people.

We will make sure our troops have all that is necessary to complete their missions. That's why I went to the Congress last September and proposed fundamental - supplemental funding, which is money for armor and body parts and ammunition and fuel...

My point is that she's [Laura Bush] busy and I'm busy, which makes our marriage not only interesting but exciting.

I'm excited for my little girls. When they left the nest, I was excited because they were winging their way into life.
