I'm hopeful. I know there is a lot of ambition in Washington, obviously. But I hope the ambitious realize that they are more likely to succeed with success as opposed to failure.

I served. And now it's time for the new man to serve. I have zero desire to be in the limelight.

I'm telling you there's an enemy that would like to attack America, Americans, again. There just is. That's the reality of the world. And I wish him all the very best.

Those who heralded the decision not to give law enforcement the tools necessary to protect the American people just simply don't see the world the way we do.
