Culture of life is really important for a country to have if it's going to be a hospitable society.

If our commanders on the ground say we need more troops, I will send them. But our commanders tell me they have the number of troops they need to do their job. Sending more Americans would undermine our strategy of encouraging Iraqis to take the lead in this fight. And sending more Americans would suggest that we intend to stay forever, when we are, in fact, working for the day when Iraq can defend itself and we can leave.

It's your money. You paid for it.

I do think we need for a troop to be able to house his family. That's an important part of building morale in the military.

I would guess, I would surmise that some of the more spectacular bombings are done by al Qaeda suiciders.

I worry about a culture that devalues life and believe as your president I have an important obligation to foster and encourage respect for life in America and throughout the world.

I was also fortunate that I was raised in a part of the world, West Texas, where individualism is strong.
