Freedom is on the march in this world. I believe everybody in the Middle East desires to live in freedom. I believe women in the Middle East want to live in a free society. I believe mothers and fathers want to raise their children in a free and peaceful world. I believe all these things, because freedom is not America's gift to the world, freedom is the almighty God's gift to each man and woman in this world.

Baptists have long upheld the ideal of a free church in a free state. And from the beginning, they believed that forcing a person to worship against his will violated the principles of both Christianity and civility.

Faith gives the assurance that our lives and our history have a moral design.

Really proud of it. A great campaign. And I'm really pleased with the organization and the thousands of South Carolinians that worked on my behalf. And I'm very gracious and humbled.

Our security is assured by our perseverance and by our sure belief in the success of liberty.

It is written that adversity introduces us to ourselves.

I feel a sense of obligation to our troops and their families because of the decisions that I made. So I'm involved with veterans.
