Time is passing...yet for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th.

People say, 'How can I help on this war against terror? How can I fight evil?' You can do so by mentoring a child; by going into a shut-in's house and say I love you.

The fact that he relies on facts - says things that are not factual - are going to undermine his campaign.

A lot of the reason why the debate is acrimonious is because of the 24/7 news cycles, blogs, and people being able to just throw something out there in order to get attention. And I'm not going be out there doing the same thing, trying to trash my successor or call attention to myself. I hope that's a positive contribution to the dialogue.

One principle is the universality of freedom. I'm a freedom lover.

I worry about protectionists, which is another way of saying less competition, less trade around the world. And I view those as twins of negativity.

We reflect on what has been lost and comfort those enduring a profound grief. And somehow we know that a brighter morning will come.
