The principle I believe in is the principle of protecting our nation. I believe that the United States has the right to attack any country it views as a threat at a time and place of its choosing.

The point is, this is a way to help inoculate me about what has come and is coming.

I feel that it's important our professionals have the tools to keep the enemy, to stop their attacks.

I don't remember debates. I don't think we spent a lot of time debating it. Maybe we did, but I don't remember.
