All across America, we gather this week with the people we love to give thanks to God for the blessings in our lives.

I mean, there was a serious international effort to say to Saddam Hussein: 'You're a threat'. And the 9/11 attacks accentuated that threat, as far as I'm concerned.

I worry about protectionists, which is another way of saying less competition, less trade around the world. And I view those as twins of negativity.
