When you get that person out of that dude, that's the real person, you know. And I don't think its dead, but it needs to be more examples, of what a true gentleman and what a true man in every sense of the word is, and that's what I try to be.

You don't get any mixtapes, you know, 'cause I don't like my voice in there. I want to be that, but that's just not me, you know. And I'm very impatient; if I don't do it right, I'll be like, well, 'Ok that's the best I'm gonna do it.' Because I feel like if you take too much time on something, you lose the motivation for it.

You always measure success by what you did last. It's hard to measure that because it's something that just comes. If someone can just make a hit, they would do it everyday. But you can't make a hit that you know is a hit every day.

I got to keep moving, I've got to keep living and I've got to keep working.

Once your motivation is killed, it's kind of hard to revive it and bring it back to life.

It's always good to have your fan base and to continue to do what you love to do and making a living and seeing the people and travel and do everything, it's always a great thing for me.

The great thing about [Michael] Jordan was that he made them want it just like he wanted it. And a lot of times like a lot of the basketball players, not to be getting on basketball, but, with a lot of the basketball players you might have one superstar on the team, and they're not willing to play up to par with the way he is, so they don't make it. But then you have some celebrities on the basketball team, and they don't know how to get along with each other!
