I am satisfied that every man or woman who goes to the temple in a spirit of sincerity and faith leaves the house of the Lord a better man or woman.

A nation will rise no higher than the strength of its homes. If you want to reform a nation you begin with families.

I know of no better answer to the foul practices that confront our young people than the teachings of a mother, given in love with an unmistakable warning.

Dishonesty of any kind will create a blemish.

May I suggest that you write, that you keep journals, that you express your thoughts on paper. Writing is a great discipline. It is a tremendous educational effort. It will assist you in various ways, and you will bless the lives of many-your families and others-now and in the years to come, as you put on paper some of your experiences and some of your musings.

You can't plow a field simply by turning it over in your mind.

Being humble means recognizing that we are not on earth to see how important we can become, but to see how much difference we can make in the lives of others
