The way of the gospel is a simple way. Some of the requirements may appear to you as elementary and unnecessary. Do not spurn them. Humble yourselves and walk in obedience. I promise that the results that follow will be marvelous to behold and satisfying to experience.

Those who move forward "with a" happy spirit will find that things alwas work out.

Why all of these broken homes? What happens to marriages that begin with sincere love and a desire to be loyal and faithful and true one to another? There is no simple answer. I acknowledge that. But it appears to me that there are some obvious reasons that account for a very high percentage of these problems. I say this out of experience in dealing with such tragedies. I find selfishness to be the root cause of most of it.

In missionary work, as in all else, preparation precedes power. Encouragement to prepare while still very young can make a tremendous difference.

Stay out of the gutter in your conversation. Foul talk defiles the man who speaks it.

Being humble means recognizing that we are not on earth to see how important we can become, but to see how much difference we can make in the lives of others
