I love music so much that I have to try to make my own music. And not copy music.

I tried to find myself and become a happy person without all the drugs and alcohol. And then I got back to Stockholm and I got pissed one night and had to sing.

I thought I had my feet on the ground, but if someone tells you every day you're going to be the next big thing then...So then if you aren't, you think, 'Have I done something wrong?'

I've recorded myself for four or five years and have been doing lots of experiments. I'm not that good an engineer - so it always becomes a different song - but I have ideas.

I let everyone have [the] space to do what they want, but I think I'm still a bit of a perfectionist.

When I did the vocals, I always became so angry and pissed off.

I'm inspired to keep on when people like what I do.
