When I played my own songs, I had to do everything myself to get it the right way, but now I think it's interesting to see how it becomes music.

I thought I had my feet on the ground, but if someone tells you every day you're going to be the next big thing then...So then if you aren't, you think, 'Have I done something wrong?'

Music is for making people happy, lyrics tell them who they are. Everybody is free to interpret the music, as they want. The lyrics of my songs are about different things, but it's all about my issues.

The Swedish folk music - I can't hear any connection between my music and fiddle tunes, but I guess since I grew up with that, kind of, Swedish tone or harmony.

I questioned everything about music. I think it's a strange thing standing on a stage and making music. I just questioned it always: What's music? What's the meaning of it?
